HIVE - END OF YEAR SHOW

 

We were set a brief to create promotional material for the End of Year Design Show for Leeds University School of Design. We were given freedom to decide on the name of the show, which I named 'HIVE' after being inspired by the collaborative connotations of the name. 

Taking inspiration from my name choice, I explored the hexagonal properties of beehives and began to create a design for the initial invite to the event. I kept the colours monochromatic in order to adhere to the sophisticated atmosphere of the event, while displaying the use of clean-cut type and shapes relevant in design.

In order to further promote the event, I created a poster, following the same style of the invitation in order to create a recognisable brand identity for the show.
